Had the best time ever on our gator hunt last night. Still can't believe we got one that big 12 ft. 2 in)! Our guide, Kevin, was knowledgeable about everything on the lake and is the most amazing tracker I have every seen. He's also good ole Florida country people like me. Thanks Kev!

Deer spotted on airboat tour at Grape HammockI have fished out of Grape Hammock for years. I always catch my limit. The folks there are the nicest people you will ever meet. A first class operation. Cabins are always clean, well stocked and everything works.

There is not much left to say about this place. Since 1989 and everything people say about it is GOSPEL! The boys as we call them Kevin & Barrett Their wives Lacy & Laurie and all of thier staff work very hard to keep the camp up to date clean & a great place for FAMILYS & FISHERMAN. Airboat is great for all. If you don`t fish rent a jon or pontoon boat go out and
enjoy the lake (35,000 acres) of beauty & wilderness!!!!

- Bill B..   May 2016

Driving into this place, I had my doubts but as soon as we got onto the boat, I was impressed! Our guide was very informative, energetic, friendly and sincerely shared his enthusiasm of the sights with us. We saw more animals, birds and vegetation than anyone else I've spoken to about the sport.  Only regret is that we didn't take our cameras with us because we thought they would get too wet. Not at all, there were plenty of fast turns and corners but none that would have affected the camera. We saw plenty of things that would have made a great picture!

- Beth M.   May 2016

No other Fish Camp can match up to Grape Hammock! Very clean cabins, friendly people. Our dog loves it! Fishing is good too! We drive about 7 hours from Florida Panhandle to relax at this Beautiful Place🐟

Deer spotted on airboat tour at Grape HammockOn March 18, 2016 four of us from Ontario, Canada went out for an airboat tour with Kevin. We saw many alligators from tiny to gigantic! Kevin even got up close and personal so we could get photos. We also got to see water buffalo, bison, the beautiful sika deer, birds and hit a record by seeing 19 bald eagles in total on our trip. It was totally awesome and we highly recommend anyone visiting Florida to add Grape Hammock Airboat Tours as part of your trip! You won't be disappointed!! First time visitor from 3.15 to 3.19. We stayed in cabin 3, it was very clean and comfortable. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Bait availability was good to excellent. Only had to leave site two out of six days for shiners. Boat and car parking were very good with covered slips and power for battery charging was helpful. Overall a good to very good experience, Have booked same week for 2017.

On Saturday, January 30, 2016, some of our National Elementary Honor Students and their parents had the opportunity to take airboat rides.

Mr. Barrett Chandley did an outstanding job keeping the children spellbound. Although to date, he must have thousands of these rides under his belt, his enthusiasm has not waned for this important job. If he ever is looking for another job, he should take up teaching, he had limitless patience with all the questions. Even he had to laugh, when one the students commented that one of the buffalos had Donald Trump Hair!

One of the purposes of this field trip was to teach the students the local history of our area. Hopefully, as these children grow and mature into adults, they will treasure our unique history as much as the Chandley family does.

My husband and two sons visited Grape Hammock for the first time this winter. We were happy to learn not only were they bass boat friendly, but also accomated air boats. This was the most relaxing and enjoyable weekend my family has had in a long time. The cabin we stayed in was clean, cozy and equiped with all the essentials. The staff were helpful and friendly. We look forward to coming back in May!

Photo of baby alligatorsSpent the week of Dec. 13th staying in Cabin 1. We had a great week. The cabin is great. Very clean. Centrally located at the Camp. Fishing was wonderful with my Father catching a 9lb 2oz behemoth. The people are fantastic. They really work to make sure everything is to your liking. We will return.

Just wanted to say that we totally enjoyed our first, definitely not last, airboat ride experience. Seeing all the wildlife was an added bonus. A great birthday present!

 - Rita and Elliot B., Oct. 2015

Photo of baby alligatorsThis was the first time my wife, 8 year-old daughter and I had ever been on an Airboat and we simply loved it. Barrett was absolutely fantastic and he knew the lake like the back of his hands. He patiently listened to all the questions we had and took the time to explain everything in full detail using the cool headsets he provides and uses to communicate with all his riders during the boat ride. All the wild life we got to see up close like Buffalo, Bald Eagles, lots of Alligators, different species of Deer, etc. was absolutely amazing. Barrett is extremely knowledgeable about anything and everything that lives and grows on the lake. We will definitely be back and bring family and friends this time for another great ride. Thanks Barrett for the highlight of our week long vacation. You’re the best!

Photo of baby alligatorsI just wanted to say I had the fishing trip of a lifetime, 13lbs. Grape Hammock is a great place to stay, with wonderful hosts. If you fish Kissimmee this is where you want to stay!

 - Buddy R.

We looked at get-a-ways for weekend relaxation in December 2014 and came across your site. . .Best Choice. My husband was a little disappointed he didn't catch any 10 pound Bass. He got over it. Loved the cows that created the perfect early morning scene. Cabin 26 was very clean. Felt really comfortable. Even our dog enjoyed his time.

 - Frank & Blondie C.

My family and I spent a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday camping at Grape Hammock . Everyone was so gracious and accommodating. We grew up spending our summers and weekends at "The Rocks" on Lake Kissimmee. Grape Hammock is truly a family friendly camp. I plan on going back for extended stays! Thank you for a memorable experience!

 - Linda T.

Photo of baby alligatorsWe brought some friends to enjoy the airboat ride and weren't disappointed with the wildlife we saw: eagles, egrets, wood storks, alligators of various sizes, buffalo and several kinds of deer. Many, many pictures were taken to relive the ride until we can come again. Keep up the great job!

Two and a half years ago a friend told us about Grape Hammock airboat rides. We took our three 14-year-old grandkids for a ride. They were down here again this year and had another ride with them. We just had our 4th ride this winter today as we have had other family members visit and introduced them to Grape Hammock. Kevin and Barrett are excellent knowledgeable and us time to take pictures and answering questions. We look forward to visiting Grape Hammock again next year. Thanks again Kevin and Barrett ! Buster SWonderful place to visit for a week or longer! I live in the southeast near Florida and just a few hours away is a "fishing paradise in the woods" so to speak. Great cabins and wonderful staff at the baitshop; cant wait to get back there very soon.

 - David S.

Buster SWe had an amazing week of fishing on "The Big K". We had nine fish over 10 lbs, 4 fish over 11 lbs, and 2 over 12 lbs. By far the best "week of fishing ever" You can bet Tracy Johnson, Ron Johnson, Windy Ammons and myself (Buster Seabolt) of North Carolina will be back each year for another great experience. The people here are extremely friendly and it is just like "home away from home."

 - Buster S.

We took the airboat tour this morning with Kevin. Fantastic experience. Lots of gators and other wildlife. Kevin is an excellent tour guide and the kids have lots of stories to take back home with them. Will definitely take this tour again.

 - Cathy and Barry L.

GracieMy cousin, a Lake Wales local, suggested your site for our family reunion this year and I am so glad she did! We had such a wonderful time boating, fishing, and visiting in such a beautiful, peaceful part of the real Florida. We plan to do it again next year. Same place, same time.

 - Robin M.

GracieI grew up on Lake Kissimmee with Barrett and Kevin and love coming back to Grape Hammock throughout the year! It's a wonderful fish camp! My 8 year old daughter Gracie caught her biggest bass this last trip! Everyone treats you like gold at Grape Hammock!

 - Robert R. - Florida

We had a great trip out on the airboat with Kevin. We saw BIG alligators and all sorts of wildlife. Our first visit and we will be back for more-fantastic. We want to book to stay here next time.

Betty WAwesome experience! We took a family trip out on the airboat and everyone had a great time. From grandpa (70 years) and grandma, mom and dad, two teenage girls and a nine year old boy, a very relaxing trip! Our tour guide Kevin was very informative and very patient with our questions. He went above and beyond to make sure we saw a lot of wildlife. I would recommend everyone make a trip to Grape Hammock!.

 - Jennifer M.

Betty WLove the airboat ride and make sure my winter guests all take stories back with them when they leave. Very well done, seeing every marsh critter available. I have enjoyed every trip I've taken. Thankyou

Roy and I have spent a few winters at Grape Hammock, love it. Due to health, unable to be back in the last 3 yrs. It is a great place to relax and catch fish. Hope to come back in Jan. 2013. The Web page is great guys. Miss all of you.

Curtis Moore with 2 big bass Don Sullivan of Franklin,TN nabbed this nice bass in Lone Palm. This would be the last of many over the the years. He introduced me to Grape Hammock and Shiner fishing. My friend will be missed. RIP "CHIEF".

 - Mike C.

Curtis Moore with 2 big bass My wife and I have been coming to the Grape Hammock once or twice per year since 1998 and we plan to continue doing so. Of all the fish camps we've stayed at to include a few in South Carolina, Georgia, and Alabama, the Grape Hammock is our favorite. The management of the Grape Hammock is great and the fishing is fantistic. I mainly use artificial bait and have caught at least one Bass over 6 pounds on every trip but one. The picture is a couple of back to back big ones that I caught a few years ago.

 - Curtis Moore

Jeffrey Page with an alligator Kevin saved the day for our first alligator hunt by finding us a usable ramp at our hunting spot. He is a great hunter, a great guide, and a great guy. We will be back, and we are bringing more friends next year.

Maria with a big bass We had to change our traditional holiday stay in 2010 due to illness, but March was the best ever for Maria with this 11lb 2oz on wild shiner in Lone Palm, March 5, 2010.

 - Mike & Maria C

Maria with a big bass Loving the camp for 16 years and the fishing a little bit.
Maria landed this big one on a cold, rainy day in Jack Slew on January 4, 2008. The bass swallowed the hook and Wild Shiner on the first hit. We couldn't release, sure was good eating that night. 6lb 7oz.

Kenny Hyde with 2 10lb. bass This photo was taken at Grape Hammock in November, 1989. These two largemouth both were 10 lbers. All of us Buck Perry spoonpluggers stayed at Grape Hammock and loved the beauty and hospitality that it has always provided. It is some of my greatest memories. I highly endorse Grape Hammock. I will never forget Miss Ardetta at the office. What a fun lady to talk with. Thanks

Walt Malcom's Family We had our 11 year old granddaughter, Sarah visit fish on 9/19/11. She learned how to shiner fish with a baitcasting rod and reel. She got a 9 pounder on her own. (Papa netted it for her) Of course she outfished granny and papa both.

 - Walt Malcom

Once again it's time to come back to Grape Hammock, and my brother Mitchell and I look forward to spending our winters in Florida. Kevin & Barrett and their wives make your stay special. Jimmy Cook with his 10.5 lb Bass Have stayed at several camps on Kissimmee over the past several years. Would recommend Grape Hammock over any other fish camp. Have stayed here in cabins for 1-2 week period for the past 7 years. Had the luxury of staying for 2 1/2 months in my camper this year. This family owned business is the most accomodating and friendliest regardless if you are here for a 1 week stay or 3 month stay. Caught my biggest fish this year, 10 1/2 lb bass using live shiner. Thanks to a great family run business and the hospitality that they continue to provide! Already have my spot reserved for next year.

 - Jimmy Cook

I've been coming to Grape Hammock for the past 15 years, since I was a little kid. Its an awesome place where everyone is friendly and the fishing is great as well.

Came to Grape Hammock in April from England. Had 3 days of awesome bass fishing. My buddy caught a bass 8lb 2 oz. The highlight of the trip was an airboat ride with Kevin. My wife will remember for the rest of her life. Been to Florida 30 times. Done almost everything. This was the best trip ever.

Kevin made us feel very safe and shared a lot of knowledge on the wildlife. We will definitely take another ride and bring other friends and family. With zoom lens on camera we were able to get some great photos.

 - Roseanne L.

An airobat ride at Grape Hammock is an adventure not to be missed. Kevin provided us with a lot of information and we were fortunate enough to see deer, hogs, alligators, turkeys, cattle, bald eagles, etc. We truly enjoyed the ride and highly recommend this camp.

My wife, and I found this place a year ago, and fell in love with it! The cabins and rooms are SUPER clean, and the people that run the store are very friendly. We have it booked for 2 weeks in March-April. We intend to visit this place at least twice a year.

 - Dwayne & Carrie D.

This is one fine fishing camp! We been staying here for the last 7 years, and this is truely a family run business that cares about people. The boys and their wifes do a great job keeping up with all the improvements. It's our home away from home and not to mention how nice all the other campers are that stay there. (ALSO THE FISHING GREAT) I rate this park AAA+
